Jyoti Bansal is a serial entrepreneur and a silicon valley technology visionary. Jyoti believes passionately in software’s ability to change the world for the better. In 2008, he founded AppDynamics, an application intelligence company that provides enterprises with real-time insights into application performance. Jyoti led the company as Founder & CEO for the first eight years, and as Founder & Chairman for the last one year until its acquisition by Cisco for $3.7 Billion in January 2017.
Jyoti has been a recipient of many leadership awards, including Forbes’ “Best Cloud Computing CEO to Work For”, and “Best CEO” by San Francisco Business Times at the Annual Tech & Innovation Award. He was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year™ for Northern California in 2016.
Jyoti received his BS in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Prior to founding AppDynamics, Jyoti worked at various silicon valley startups as a software engineer and architect. Jyoti is the lead inventor on 20+ US patents.

Rishi (@rishisinghtweet) leads research & development at Harness. Before co-founding Harness, Rishi worked at Apple for six years. He pioneered Continuous Delivery at Apple as platform architect responsible for Apple’s deployment automation (DevOps) platform, leading its product management, software engineering, and technology operations. Rishi was responsible for creating a highly scalable solution supporting thousands of concurrent deployments, but realized that the Continuous Delivery problem could only be solved through the careful application of machine learning and the elimination of custom scripting.
Prior to Apple, Rishi worked in various software engineering roles at companies including ETrade and Cisco. Rishi received his BS in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
As Chief Revenue Officer, Jason is responsible for leading and growing Harness’ sales function worldwide.
Prior to joining Harness, Jason was Chief Revenue Officer at Markforged, the industry leading 3D printer manufacturing company, where he led the company’s worldwide sales, marketing, and business operations effort — scaling the company from 71 employees to over 200 and growing bookings 400% in the process. Prior to Markforged, Jason was the Global Vice President of Sales, Services and Alliances at Twilio, the world’s leading developer platform for software embedded communications. Jason helped Twilio through explosive growth and a multi-billion dollar IPO.
Before Twilio, Jason ran Worldwide Field Sales at Meraki, which was acquired by Cisco for $1.2 billion in 2012. He has also held leadership roles at CA Technologies and BMC.
John Bonney oversees the Harness company’s finance and accounting function. Prior to Harness, he oversaw rapid growth as the CFO at Mapbox as well as FinancialForce, the latter quadrupling revenues to over $100M during his tenure. Prior to that, he was the Division CFO of the Cloud Business unit at SAP where he oversaw over $1 billion of Cloud revenues across multiple business units, products, and geographies. Bonney joined SAP from Ariba as a senior finance executive who helped drive rapid expansion and ultimately the sale of Ariba to SAP for $4.3 billion.

Thiya is responsible for leading the company’s global engineering organization, including its R&D; teams in San Francisco and Bangalore, India.Thiya previously spent five years scaling Zoom from less than 12 million ARR in the early days to post IPO growth, ultimately leading a team of more than 600 people, launching the company’s marketplace, and significantly expanding its ecosystem. Thiya has also held key engineering leadership roles at Saba, Plantronics, and Cisco.

In his most recent position at AppDynamics, he led the Talent Acquisition & Operations function where he was instrumental in scaling the company from 150 to almost 2,000 employees globally. He is also a talent advisor to Unusual Ventures.
Previously, Luan has served as an advisor for companies like PlanGrid, Headhunter.io, and 8×8 Inc. Luan holds a degree in International Relations from the University of California, Davis. He has written articles on the “War for Talent;” and has been featured in several publications including Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, and San Francisco Business Times, specifically on the art and science behind recruiting.

As a member of the executive team Manuel “Manny” Ruiz is responsible for Customer Success. He leads all post sales functions at Harness including the CSM, Support and Education teams.
Manny has over 20 years experience in the tech industry, originally in a variety of hands on technical roles working directly with customer implementations. At MobileIron he built the CS team from scratch to a 150 person worldwide organization. In that time MobileIron grew from 0 to over 15,000 customers and from a private company through a successful IPO. In addition he has held executive Customer Success leadership positions previously with Sauce Labs and InfluxData.

As VP of Field Sales, Sam is responsible for leading and growing Harness’ sales revenue in North America, LATAM and APAC.
Prior to joining Harness, Sam was AVP, Sales for Perfecto, the industry leading Continuous Testing Platform. During his tenure Perfecto enjoyed 300% revenue growth and was acquired by Perforce Software. Prior to Perfecto, Sam held a leadership role at Oracle and was the youngest employee to achieve rank of Banking Officer with M&T Bank.

As the VP and GM for EMEA, Stephen is responsible for running and scaling the business to support our customers in EMEA.
Stephen joined Harness from Cloudera, where he was the first sales hire in the region and had the privilege of leading the EMEA organisation as they scaled the business to 70 Account Managers in 18 countries, and customers in 65 countries across EMEA. During that time Cloudera went from being a private company through a successful IPO.
